It was send to the national market on 16th of April 2016, but it already had many importers waiting for it. The Conde D’Ervideria Water Wine was conceived as an innovative project which consists of submerging 30 000 bottles in the Alqueva lake, for 8 months, 30 meters depth.
This pioneering process was inspired by wines transported in boats, which were shipwrecked, leaving the “lost” bottles at the bottom of the ocean until they were rescued. Some of them have considerable improvements in structure, flavor, aroma and aging potential.
If in 2016 our goal was “stabilization” and “growth” of the Water Wine in the market, nowadays, we can proudly say that we have overcome this goal.
